A Gemstone is a stone consisting of solid concentration of cosmic rays of Planet within it. Earth is full of such stones created by cosmic rays of various Planets and found in mines.
Jupiter’s full cosmic energy is stored in Yellow Sapphire. Saturn’s full cosmic energy is stored in Blue Sapphire. Same way for all Gemstones.
When you wear a Gemstone on your finger then that Planet’s stored energy is transferring in your 7 chakras and thereby your Aura. This is the subtle process. We can’t watch this by our eyes but experience after sometime.
Ruby (Sun) , Green Emerald (Mercury) , Yellow Sapphire (Jupiter), Diamond (Venus), Blue Sapphire (Saturn) and Brown Hessonite (Rahu) are the stones found in the mines.
Scientists have tested changes of colors in Aura after wearing some Gemstones through Kirlian photography. Gemstone strengthen the weak planet and do create effect in one’s nature and the significations of planet .
Let me clear one thing that some Gemstones are not strengthening Planets but reducing the negative energy stored with them. They are Red Coral (Mars) and Cat’s Eye (Ketu). But they are not stones.
Red Coral Cat’s Eye & Pearl
Red Coral cools down the hot and angry effect of Mars. Same way Cat’s Eye controls negative energy of Ketu.
Some misunderstanding is prevailing for Pearl. All think that Pearl is giving peace to the mind and reduces Anger and depression but it is not so. The reason is real pearls are not available in the market and natural pearls are too much costly.
The natural Pearl is found only within Sea. What we purchase is Cultured Pearl so not much effective and capable to create any so called effect . ( So to strengthen Moon better to pray and worship Lord Shiva rather than wearing Pearl. )

How to select Gemstones as per birth chart ?
We should strengthen the Planets which are positive and helpful . We should not give strength to the planets who are Maarak or Baadhak. Otherwise they can harm more to the native.
For example in Gemini Lagna Jupiter is ‘Maarak’ and ‘Baadhak’ too . So we should not give more strength to Jupiter otherwise native can develop health issues. For Gemini Lagna, Green Emerald is OK if Mercury is not in 6 8 or 12th house otherwise Green Emerald will also increase 6 8 12 house matters.
We should take much care while selecting Gemstone.
Blue Sapphire
Blue Sapphire is for Saturn so not advisable to all except Taurus Gemini Libra Capricorn and Aquarius Lagnas.
Gomed
Brown Hessonite (Gomed) is not advisable at all whose Rahu is in 4 8 and 12th house.
Red Coral is advisable for those who has Mars in 1 4 7 8 or 12th house since Red Coral will control the negative malefic energy of Mars ( Except Gemini and Virgo Lagna. )
We should not wear the Gemstone of a Planet who is the lord of 6 8 or 12th house. ( 6th lord is allowed only in Taurus Cancer Libra Scorpio Sagittarius and Capricorn Lagnas.)
